An open mossy area dotted with tropical plants congeals into a dense jungle, but one tree looms above it all, shimmering with the activity of librarians and library patrons. The thick branches conceal even more activity as critters scurry into and out of holes, books poking out of rucksacks.
A movement in the ground cover catches your eye as you survey the grasses around the tree, and a round, bumbling shape darts with surprising agility toward you around rocks and thorny clumps of shrubs. This must be the head librarian. A large green parrot the size of a cat and with a similar amorphous bulk of fluff and fat comes to a stop in front of you, proudly pulling itself up to its full height. “We’ve been working diligently on our collections here at the library,” the bird starts, “ready to welcome researchers such as yourself. Now, what do you want to read about?”
Head into the main opening of the library at the base of the tree to read a variety of articles about culture, politics, nature, and more.
Enter an opening in one of the larger roots from which music and chatter emanates to view website-building and indie web resources.
